Dear Sir or Madam; I would like to express my satisfaction with the landscaping job that Crenshaw Landscaping completed for me just before Christmas. In particular, I am extremely impressed with the level of customer service from Scott Johnson. There were many headaches with the concrete shortage, and with the concrete cracking and with the gap under my gate. But Scott went out of his way to insure that a quality job was done and that I was satisfied with the results. He was always available to discuss issues or concerns I had, which was very impressive since I was only home on weekends. His vision, talent, attitude and work ethic are exceptional. I love the look and feel he has created in my back yard. It is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It’s hard to explain how much stress can be relieved by having beautiful landscaping to sit back and enjoy. It is everything I expected and more.

My husband and I absolutely love everything your team has done at our home in Riverstone – the front and back landscapes, the rock garden, the night accent lighting, the walkway and nice large sitting area. The arbor with the night accent lighting in the courtyard that Scott designed just reminded us of a small café bistro in Italy. Scott’s talent has made our dream come true. We traveled a lot and love to travel but we feel that we are now living in a 6-stars resort property. We can just take vacation in our own home.

Enclosed is our payment for the outstanding invoice #3929 and the balance of the sod payment on #3898. We appreciate your patience. As you know, it had been our plan to have Jay Mullen pay you as he had promised us, but he has still not been “available” to either call me or to sit down with us and finalize everything. It is not fair to you to be waiting for payment and therefore we are going ahead with this check for the remaining amount.
Scott, we want to say again how pleased we are with everything you did and for Sid’s work as well. We do have a few plants behind the waterfall that aren’t looking very healthy but maybe that is the time of year. Most of the begonias and zinnias (?) never really did well either but that may be a seasonal issue as well.
What really impressed us was that you all did what you said you would do, when you said you would. We wish that were true of all the businesses with whom we have dealings.

This letter is to express how delighted we are with the completed work on our backyard. The design and selection of plants has enhanced our backyard better than I could have imagined. After several weeks I can say that there is not one thing that I would change – this speaks volumes coming from a woman! Any type of home renovation is always disruptive but your crew did a terrific job of keeping that process to a minimum.

Now that we have moved into our newly built home, completely landscaped by you, we want to let you know what a pleasant experience it has been working with you. We were impressed right away with Scotts’ creativity and practicality in the designing of our landscape and upon your completion of the project we were absolutely thrilled with the results. The grass was lush and green, the flowers were blooming profusely and the layout was even more beautiful than we had imagined.

I want to express our (mine and Marti’s) sincere appreciation and satisfaction with the planning and execution of your landscape design for our backyard. This last design of yours has exceeded our expectations tenfold!
Beginning last January, when we first began our discussion with you about our idea for a lap pool and backyard landscape upgrade project, you have been amazing. Your recommendation of Custom Outdoors for the lap pool design and construction was an excellent one. Then, when Custom Outdoors completed their work you stepped right in with a design that melded smoothly with your 2007 flagstone patio design and accentuated our new pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen.
Your plant selections are superb, providing the visual appeal we want while addressing our restrictions and daily/weekly required upkeep efforts.
Throughout our project you have been very responsive to our requests and changes in your scope of work. I especially appreciate how quickly you responded to my request to install a French drain by our Master Bedroom exterior wall. That drain will certainly keep water from passing through the brick wall weep holes!
Everyone who has seen our backyard has been very impressed. If I have heard this once, I have heard it twenty times “your backyard belongs on HGTV!”
